James A. DeLeo, CPA, MBA Partner Gray, Gray & Gray’s M&A Practice Group is led by Jim DeLeo. More than twenty years of hands-on experience combined with Jim’s educational background in entrepreneurial finance make him a key contributor to our portfolio of fundless sponsors, search funds, and larger private equity firms with established funds all of which seek his advice when acquiring target companies in the middle-market. Jim specializes in the following acquisition assistance services: Agreed-upon procedure engagements focusing on particular areas of interest to the acquirer Quality of earnings reviews Discounted cash flow preparation and analysis Working capital analysis Assistance with senior debt financing Budgeting and forecasting Post-acquisition audit services for the portfolio company Close working relationship with sponsors at all times during the year Close working relationship with all other members of the sponsors team of advisors Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Association for Corporate Growth, and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Bentley University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Management. Jim also attended Babson College where he received his Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in entrepreneurial finance and Suffolk University where he received his Master’s degree in Taxation.
