Kelly Berardi

Kelly A. Berardi, JD Tax Partner In her role as Tax Partner, Kelly handles the tax side of all private equity transactions. She works closely with all of our sponsors in developing and implementing solid tax structure and strategies for their acquisitions whether they be stock or asset deals. She then works to make sure the portfolio companies of the equity sponsors are in compliance with all applicable federal and state tax laws on a post acquisition basis. Kelly’s dual background in accounting and law, along with her extensive experience in both corporate and individual tax planning, contribute to the ongoing success of our equity sponsors. Kelly specializes in the following acquisition assistance services: Deal structure addressing both GAAP and tax-related issues Post acquisition financial and tax support services Post acquisition tax planning and compliance for the portfolio company Kelly began her accounting career with Deloitte & Touche LLP, and later joined Softbank, Inc., a private equity firm.
